Rationale
ISTE-TF.1 STANDARD: Technology Operations and Concepts -- Educational
technology facilitators demonstrate an in-depth understanding of technology
operations and concepts.
Through the research and writing of a technologically relevant topic I
have developed a firm statement and understanding of a technological issue
in education.
ISTE-TF.2 STANDARD: Planning and Designing Learning Environments and Experiences
-- Educational technology facilitators plan, design, and model effective
learning environments and multiple experiences supported by technology.
Through the research that I participated in I feel I have developed a
relevant plan for our school district to follow.
ISTE-TF.3 STANDARD: Teaching, Learning, and the Curriculum -- Educational
technology facilitators apply and implement curriculum plans that include
methods and strategies for utilizing technology to maximize student learning.
The outset of my group research and proposals will have long-term benefits
for students in the classroom.
ISTE-TF.4 STANDARD: Assessment and Evaluation -- Educational technology
facilitators apply technology to facilitate a variety of effective assessment
and evaluation strategies.
Through the group study students are being kept on the cutting edge of
technology that is relevant in their area of study. The platform choice
should be determined by what the students will be using in the field.
ISTE-TF.5 STANDARD: Productivity and Professional Practice -- Educational
technology facilitators apply technology to enhance and improve personal
productivity and professional practice.
The paper that I have written shows that I have the vision needed to help
students succeed in their endeavors. There need to be kept as the focal
point for decisions that are made by school districts.
ISTE-TF.8 STANDARD: Leadership and Vision -- Educational technology facilitators
will contribute to the shared vision for campus integration of technology
and foster an environment and culture conducive to the realization of
the vision.Once again I feel that my paper incorporates a vision of a
dual platform for the benefits of the students at Glenbrook North HS.
