Learners
This unit is designed for a seond grade Science class. It will
intergrate other curriculum areas. There will be elements
of Language Arts, Math, and Art as well as Science.
This unit is designed for second grade classes however, with
modification it can be adapted to other grade levels.
To activate prior knowledge the learners can will participate in
a group discussion. Answering
questions like: "What do we already know about dinosaurs?"
Or the students may writetheir own questions. The
learners will listen to severals books on Dinosaurs: Dinosaur Time, Danny
and the Dinosaur,
Dinosaurs in Your Backyard.
