Artifact:
The podcast which is included here is intended to be used by me for my TIE300 course, Introduction to Technology in the Classroom. My intent when creating this podcast was to send the podcast to my students before the class began at the beginning of the quarter, or to look at it with them on the first day of class. This podcast sets forth my objections and expectations for the class, while introducing my students to a technology that they may be familiar with, and showing them another use for it.

Reflection:
I really enjoyed taking this course and creating the podcast. I was able to explore a variety of resources available to teachers in the form of a podcast. Most importantly, I learned how to create my own podcast. Since I was working on a Macintosh, I used GarageBand to record my podcast and put images to the spoken word. Not only did this project serve a purpose in my own classroom, it also allowed me to show my students a practical application of a Web 2.0 technology.
