Course Description:
This course examines the ways the Internet is used in educational settings. Students use the Internet to search for and access online resources for instructional use and personal prefessional development. Students use online communication tools to communicate and share information worldwide. Students use technology-enhanced instructional strategies and plan and develop instructional activities that appropriately integrate the Internet into the curriculum.

Artifact:
The artifact from this course is a WebQuest. I will be designing an adaptive technology WebQuest for my students in the TIE300 Introduction to Technology in the Classroom course. This WebQuest puts users in the role of a fifth-grade classroom teacher with two students with special needs. The user must assess the needs of the two students and come to an IEP meeting with ideas for both low-tech and high-tech solutions to meet those needs. Students will be given online resources to use in making the recommendations. The final product will be a word-processed proposal which outlines the recommendations for the two students.

Reflection:
Reflection will go here when project is completed.
