Activity Two: Why Use Photo Movies?

It is important to understand the benefits of using photo movies in the classroom if you are going to put in the time to create them. 

If your principal or supervisor asked you to justify why your school should put time and funds into creating photo movies, what response would you give?  Use the internet to research this topic.  Visit the Resources page for some places to get started with your research.   Draft a proposal highlighting the reasons that educators should be using this technology in their classrooms.  Topics to consider:
          -meeting technology standards in your state
          -how photo movies may affect teaching and learning
          -learning needs/styles in your classroom
          -available technologies in your teaching environment
          -benefits of using images and narration
          -ways in which photo movies can support your curriculum
