I completed my porfolio for the Technology in Education program for this course. The portfolio was created using Dreamweaver. I used templates, tables, links and other features to create a final project. The portfolio will be presented on November 7, 2006 at Disney Magnet School. |

This was a very important project for me for a number of reasons. To begin with, it was the culminating project for the two and a half years I have spent completing my Master's Degree in Technology in Education. By compiling all the information including the project artifacts, reflections and rationales relating the projects to the standards in technology education I was able to more clearly see my growth throughout the program, the projects whose creations have carried out into my actual teaching and how much I have accomplished overall. Secondly, developing this portfolio allowed me to re-acquaint myself with Dreamweaver. I developed three different templates, managed images, spacing, anchors, and links, and developed a user friendly and (hopefully) attractive project. In addition, I was able to include my own personal touches, such as including images of the projects, developing the bibliography to be accessed in two different ways, and including projects I was proud of that were from courses not considered benchmark for the program. Overall, the completion of this portfolio was a very positive experience, a good way for me to see how much I have accomplished and how I have grown. |
