Southwest
Region
The southwest region is made up of the following
states: Arizona, New
Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Louisiana, Arkansas,
North Dakota, and South Dakota. This region can boast of a famous
conquistador and his trek
across the area in search of the seven cities of gold. Another state in
this
region can say that it was once an independent nation and fought on the
side
of the south during the civil war. A place called Medicine wheel was
built
about one thousand years ago as a calendar and a device used to tell
the
first day of the season.
