What strategies should I use?

To learn about strategies you can use to help your student be successful in the classroom please continue with the following activities.
To research information regarding accommodations and modifications relating students who have a hearing loss using web resources. Answer questions that relate to the information learned in the appropriate section of the curriculum web wikispace.
Time:
It should take you about 30 minutes to complete this activity. 10 minutes should be used to discuss questions in the wikispace.

1. Let's test your own hearing....
For this activity you will test your hearing in different situations. These situations include:
- Testing your hearing with both ears unoccluded or open.
- Testing your hearing with ear protection buds in your ears.
- Testing your hearing while listening to hearing aids.
- Testing your hearing while listening to an assistive listening device.
You will need the following materials:
- Ear protection buds
- Hearing aids
- Assistive Listening Device
- Stethoset (A type of earphone which has a central earphone transducer coupled to both ears by acoustic tubes in a Y-formation like that of a traditional stethoscope). Connected to earmolds of hearing aids to simulate hearing with hearing aids/assistive listening device)
