Process:
Students will work in groups
of four, two to work on the camera, the other two to work on the
light-sensitive materials.
Before proceeding, you
should each do the following on your own:
1. Read the Task section
above.
2.
Write in a Word document a brief outline or couple of paragraphs about what you
already know about photography, and turn this in to the teacher.
By researching the sites you
will discover how the problem of forming an image was solved first, and then
how the “Magic Paper” was invented that could capture it. You will also discover a bunch of kooks who
still indulge in almost complete liberation from manufactured photographic
materials.
