End-of-Unit Research Project

Before beginning the paper, you must send me your journal file which should be titled "art journal.doc". Make sure your file has your name at the top of the page.

After having completed the upload of your journal, you can begin work on your final paper. The paper will be an end-of-unit project in which you will write a research paper critiquing three movements in a compare/contrast format. To do this, you need to select three (3) of the movements studied. The possible choices are as follows:

• Ancient Greek or Roman
• Renaissance
• Baroque
• Impressionism
• Cubism
• Surrealism
• Abstract Expressionism
• Pop Art

Be careful in your selection, as this website offers more information on some, and less on others. Regardless, you MUST do research outside of this website in order to have enough information. The paper must be 4 pages written or 2 typed (12 pt. font, double spaced). Consult your teacher for information on a due date.
