BUTTERFLIES AND CENTIPEDES OF CHILDREN'S PAST

TEREZIN CONCENTRATION CAMP

How did the children relocated to the Terezin concentration camp “survive” their years of confinement?

Between 1942 and 1944, 15,000 children were confined to the Terezin concentration camp in Czechoslovakia; less than 100 of those children survived. During their captivity, the children initiated tangible “lifelines” to help them endure the daily hardships of confinement. By identifying and expanding their lifelines into a digital presentation, you will memorialize the children of the Terezin Concentration Camp.
