Your task will be as follows;

• Research types of designs from around the world.
• Find out what types of materials are used in these regions to build homes.
• Compile your information and choose what types of designs and materials you could use to design a house of your own.
• When all information is put together start the design of your home.

By the end of this lesson you should be able to:

1. Come up with a conceptual design for a home by putting together multiple pieces from different home designs from around the globe.

2. Gain a better idea of what materials are used in today’s construction of homes and why and how they are used.

3. Think out side the box of traditional home design and be creative.
