Final Activity - Letter to parents

In your final activity you will write a letter to the parents of your students explaining your approach to teaching evolution. To begin, take a look at NSTA's position on teaching Evolution in the classroom.

Your letter should include the following:

1. Introduce yourself (Name, subject, and any other information you would like the parent to know).
2. Introduce the topic and and your definition of evolution that you acquired from this curriculum web.
3. Discuss how you will be teaching evolution to their children. Give examples of lessons that you will incorporate into your unit.
4. Address a couple roadblocks or pitfalls that might occur (See Activity 4) and how the class will overcome them.
5. Don't forget to include your information and how the parents can get a hold of you.
