Wadsworth is now off of the Chicago Public School's probationary schools list!

How? Why? Read on!

Wadsworth School met AYP (Annual Yearly Progress) goals for the 2005-2006 school year!

In order to make AYP

95% or more of our students must take the ISAT
The total school population must meet or exceed Math and Reading Assessment targets.
All subgroups with at least 45 students must meet Math and Reading Assessment targets or make Safe Harbor.
School must meet or exceed annual targets for attendance.

Recognized for "Exemplary Achievement" for five years of consecutive gains on the Illinois Standard Achievement Test!
Winner of attendance award for more than a 1% gain in overall attendance.

Our attendance rate for 2005-2006 was 94.4%.

Recipient of the Recycling Rewards Office Depot gift card in recognition of meeting our recycling goal.
