Directions to CUIP Office
Our office is AAC-007. That's in the basement level of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Center, a part of the Research Institutes group of buildings. You can enter the RI at 5640 S Ellis. There is a
campus-only telephone in the entrance area at 5640, and if you like
you can call us at 2-6041 for further directions or for someone to
come up and meet you. Calling may be necessary anyway, if it's after
5:00 PM and the inner door at 5640 has been locked.
Or you can continue, based on these directions:
- From the 5640 Ellis entrance, come through the main glass-door entrance and continue along a rather short entrance hall to where the
first major cross-corridor meets it.
- Turn right (North) on that
cross-corridor and continue to where it ends (at a large photo of
Enrico Fermi).
- Turn left (West) there, and proceed through a set of
double doors (metal), a short enclosed passageway between buildings,
then quickly a second set of double doors (these glass) taking you
into the AAC.
- Continue West almost to the end of the hall, but just
before the offices at the end there is a staircase on the left.
- Take
the stairs down one level. At the bottom of the stairs, turn right
(East).
- AAC-007 will be on your left.
If we've all stepped out, look for Benjamin Lorch
(tel: 4-2159) at AAC-050.
