has happened to our youth? They must believe that they are worthwhile,
respected, that their opinions are valued and that they deserve a place
at the communal table. |

educators we possess tremendous powers in making the lives of our students
either miserable or joyous. I can humiliate, humor, hurt or heal. In all
situations it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated
or de-escalated and child humanized or dehumanized. |
