Hi, I'm Sandy Inniss!

Professional Experience:
I began my work experience as a medical technician but decided after working for years in the lab that I needed a major change. That transformation led me to teaching science for the Chicago Public School system. Presently I teach at Raymond Elementary School. This year our assistant principal became our new principal, Mrs. M. Rose, who has been coaxing me towards an administrative position and to my surprise, I am enjoying wearing both hats. This summer I am working under both premises, one as the lead teacher and as a teacher in the bridge program teaching sixth graders.
Personal Life: (put in a picture of my family here)
My family consist of my husband (who happens to be our families computer "Guru"), 3 adult children and one grandson Alex and our pet Toi, a female seven year old Chow. Our youngest (the only male) works in Miami Florida as a air traffic comptroller, the oldest resides in Ohio and works as a senior buyer and the middle sibling works as a registered nurse here in Chicago. My grandson is only seven but is very smart and loves computers. I'm sure that in not the so far further I'll have to go to him for computer advice. I am very proud of all of my children.
My hobbies are:
Collecting and reproducing antique
porcelin dolls
. People who
are not into the art don't realize the time it takes in producing a doll
to look exactly as it did centuries before.
Many times I have worked for almost half a year to make the perfect doll.
For me doll
making is relaxing, challenging and
rewarding.
of course I find it very difficult to manage my work, me going to school (computer classes) and work on a dissertation. At the moment I'm juggling it all but can't until I'm finish my work and defend.
