Each member will be
given the following titles: a chart producer, a multimedia specialist
a reporter.
The Chart Producers will go online each day to check
the temperature, wind speed and precipitation for the team's
assigned city. He/she will share the findings with other
members of the team. Next, the chart producer will use a
spreadsheet to chart and graph the temperature, wind speed,
precipitation of the assigned city for four weeks.
The Multimedia Specialists will look for
photos, quick-time movies, or weather maps to describe
the weather conditions of the assigned city. The
findings will then be placed in a web page or power
point presentation.
The Reporters will use word processing
to keep a daily record of the team's activities,
the affect of weather on the city and its inhabitants.
At the end of the month, each team will present their findings in a multimedia
presentation or web page. The presentation will include facts about the city,
the information about the weather conditions, and the effects of the weather
on the inhabitants.
