My name is Priscilla Horton. I have been a Chicago Public School teacher for three years. It is my hope that this site will provide students with a different type of learning experience. One that is fun and challenges them to look for answers to questions they may not have known they had. |
Students often don't see how history has affected their life. They miss the very clear connections between the past and the present. The world is a much smaller place becasue of the internet. This site will provide them with another vehicle to examine the world around them in different ways.

I love history and I want my students to find it as interesting and exciting as I do. A large part of teaching has to do with content but the rest is simply presentation. Perhaps this web site will help to make my presentation a little more interesting and get more students hooked on finding out more about history and the world. |
