My name is Cathe and welcome to my web site.
I am currently enrolled in National-Louis University's M.Ed Technology in Education program. This is my first attempt at making a web site and web pages. I've created this web site as a requirement for TIE 547 - Creating Web-based Instructional Environments that I am taking in Summer, 2008.
I have been employed at Homer Consolidated School District 33C for the last 19 years. I currently teach 8th grade Social Studies at Homer Junior High located in Homer Glen, Illinois. Homer Glen is considered a village that is located southwest of Chicago, Illinois. I see approximately 170 students on a daily basis during the school year. At school I share the position of 8th grade sponsor. Our school is divided into 5 teams, and I am the team leader for our team.
What do I do when I am not being a student? I have two beautiful daughters, and a wonderful son-in-law I love spending time with. I spend weekends at my lake house, going for rides on our motorcycle, or just hanging out with friends and family. I live with Frank, my significant other, and our dog Rags who I adopted from TLC Animal Shelter about 5 years ago.
